Ethos Design is a Townsville-based interior design company offering decoraring services online. We offer ‘Design Kits’, an e-decorating service which gives you all the inspiration, instructions and shopping lists you need to create your dream home. This means we can design your home, online, no matter where you are in Australia!

This is an interior design firm for those who want a beautiful home, but don’t think they should have to pay designer prices for it. It’s for those people that already have some great pieces and just need a hand putting it all together. And it’s for those people that want to have fun with interior design and create a real home that suits their lifestyle.

How does it work?

There are a lot of different design kits which can guide you in everything from choosing all the selections for your new home, to picking the perfect furniture for your dining room. You choose the type of design kit you want, we will help you find your design ethos (your favourite style of design whether it be traditional or minimalist) and once you receive your kit you can start decorating!

A design kit can be used as a precise plan to follow to the letter, or simply to help guide your purchasing decisions. They can also be used for all budgets, from a $400 room re-fresh to a $10,000 living room makeover.

You choose the type of design kit you want, we will help you find your design ethos (your favourite style of design whether it be traditional or minimalist) and once you receive your kit you can start decorating!

The reason Ethos Design Kits can offer such affordable interior design services, is because we count on you to be prepared to do a bit of the work yourself. Design Kits involve ‘e-decorating’ - keeping the service online allows us to keep the cost down. If you can measure and photograph the room, and implement the design plan yourself, it allows us to concentrate on the most important part; the designing! This allows us to offer a professional interior design service at a fraction of the cost. Don’t worry though, we send you instructions on how to photograph and measure the room.

However, if you live in the Townsville area and would like us to see your room in person, and do the measuring for you, an one hour appointment is only an extra $60.
